Amid the boom of regional culture, Bihar might be the next passenger to board this train of success. While there was no dedicated event for the promotion of film and culture in Bihar before, The Bihar State Development and Finance Corporation organized the inaugural Bihar Film Conclave 2024.
The event shed some light on the future of Bihar’s entertainment sector and how it can impact the whole country with its rich culture. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha highlighted what impact films have on the normal public which further helps in creating awareness among citizens.
If we take a look at the Bhojpuri entertainment industry, their songs have gained a lot of popularity, thanks to social media. While there is a fixed audience that loves to consume Bhojpuri cinema, this initiative would surely look to change the way of portrayal in the industry as well which would in turn attract a wider audience.
Renowned Bhojpuri Actors Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishan also made their remarks on the future of the industry. Tiwari stated how Cinema halls in Bihar need to be renovated and a film city should also be established in the state.
Meanwhile, Kishan talked about the safety and security of the industry which is currently the need of the hour. With a strong approach to the future and good determination, Bhojpuri Cinema is making efforts to get mainstream and entertain audiences with new formulas. Only time will tell if they succeed or not.
