The teaser of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was launched bundled with the theatrical release of KGF Chapter 2. But today T-Series launched the highly awaited trailer of their upcoming horror-comedy.
Till now, the teaser, motion poster and everything were revolving around the iconic song by Shreya Ghoshal “Ami Je Tomar”. But now the trailer has much more to offer.
The film stars Kartik Aaryan with Kiara Advani and is supported by exceptionally brilliant and veteran actress Tabu.
The film was directed by Anees Bazmee has been written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik.
Regardless, the trailer suggests that this film is a continuation of the original film where Monjulika returns after 15 years. We clearly remember that Monjulika was NOT actually a ghost but this trailer is filled with CGI which indicates the presence of the supernatural.
Kartik Aaryan claims to be an expert in dealing with them, Tabu has some deep secrets within her and Monjulika possesses Kiara.
The film is getting promoted as a horror comedy but it is not actually horrible at all. Even the funny elements seem too lame. Overall, this is a disappointing trailer and fingers are crossed for the film.
The film will hit the theatres on 20th May and will be a litmus test. It is a well-known fact that Akshay Kumar‘s Bhool Bhulaiyaa is still highly popular and Vidya Balan’s performance in it is still a benchmark to cross. So the content of the film will tell whether the audience loves it or not.
