Bhuvan Bam is not a name that needs any introduction! He is one of those early Indian YouTubers who showed the power of content creation to the now numerous aspiring creators. Famous for his BB Ki Vines, Bhuvan Bam is now venturing into the mainstream digital media with a lead role in Disney+ Hotstar web series ‘Taaza Khabar’.
With the teaser out now for ‘Taaza Khabar’ it can be said that Bhuvan will be seen in a totally new avatar that is quite different from the usual comic roles that he plays in his vines.
The newly launched teaser is already impressing the audience and its now only a matter of days when ‘Taaza Khabar’ will be out for the public to watch and review.
With over 2.5 crore subscribers on YouTube, Bhuvan Bam is one of the highly followed Indian YouTubers and it will be interesting to see if these numbers convert into the viewership count for his latest project. Because even if half those huge numbers happens to watch ‘Taaza Khabar’ on Disney+ Hotstar the following word of mouth can do wonders for the series.
Taking about the ‘Taaza Khabar’s teaser, playing the role of Vasya whose story is set in Mumbai, Bhuvan Bam’s first few looks from the video show him as a goon who gets into fights a lot but also seems to enjoy his life.
While it’s common notion that life is made with a home, a vehicle and a women, Vasya’s destiny probably had some other plans for him. Looks like he is blessed with some magical miracle that is bound to change his life forever but we don’t know for good or for something worse.
With a story idea from Aziz Dalal and starring Bhuvan Bam, Disney+ Hotstar’s ‘Taaza Khabar’ is directed by Himank Gaur. Bhuvan Bam and Rohit Raj are the producers for the show with Arvin Bhandari serving as its co-producer. Rohit Raj is also the executive producer for the show.
‘Taaza Khabar’ marks the debut OTT production of Bhuvan Bam’s BB Ki Vines Productions that earlier produced ‘Dhindora’, a YouTube web series. ‘Taaza Khabar’ will premiere soon exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
