Disney+ Hotstar has finally officially announced the launch of season three of one of its most popular original series ‘City of Dreams’ and it was enough to get fans excited for the same.
In the announcement video launched today, viewers are offered glimpses of the feud within the Gaikwad family and how a father goes all out against his own daughter for regaining power. It reminds fans of the intense politics that grips you throughout not knowing what will happen next. While there’s still no release date set for ‘City of Dreams’ season 3, it will premiere soon only on Disney+ Hotstar.
Earlier one of the show’s leading actor Eijaz Khan and the production banner Applause Entertainment had clearly mentioned of an upcoming third season while replying to a Twitter user who praised the show. Although this is the first official announcement coming from Disney+ Hotstar itself.
A political crime-thriller drama set in Mumbai, ‘City of Dreams’ season 1 was partly engaging whereas it was the convincing performances in the second season that elevated the story. It will be interesting to see what the third season has to offer.
Created and written by acclaimed filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor (‘Iqbal’, ‘Dor’) and Rohit Banawilkar, ‘City of Dreams’ stars Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Eijaz Khan, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Siddharth Chandekar, Geethika Tyagi and Rakesh Dubey among others. ‘City of Dreams’ is produced by Applause Entertainment and Kukunoor Movies and will launch soon only on Disney+ Hotstar.
