The first official poster of superstar Ajith‘s next big film is released and it has been titled ‘Thunivu‘. It is Ajith Kumar’s 61st film and was earlier being called AK 61 before its announcement. There was speculation among fans about the film being named ‘Thunivu’ or ‘Aattam’. The name is trending with posts after posts being made on Twitter. ‘Thunivu’ will have Manju Warrier in a pivotal role and this will be the first time she and Ajith Kumar will be in a movie together.
H. Vinoth will be directing the movie. He is famous for his suspenseful storytelling in films like ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ and ‘Sathuranga Vettai’. The actor is seen laying on an armchair with a gun in his hands in the first look. This movie is probably going to be a heist movie as per rumours and following the stories that H. Vinoth is choosing for films. Ajith’s last release was ‘Valimai’ that released earlier this year and made a pretty decent business in the theatres.
The director has already collaborated with Ajith Kumar twice, the first time with the ‘Pink’ remake ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ and the second time being in ‘Valimai’.
The film is thought to have its release during Pongal of 2023. Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu is also speculated to have its release slated for that time. If it happens, it will be one major clash between the two stalwarts of the Tamil industry.
