This hit SBS original spans across 16 episodes and stars South Korean darlings Shin Min-ah and Lee Seung-gi in lead roles. The TRP topper show is one of the few fantasy shows of last decade that aged so well. The drama follows the love-story of a loser and a nine tailed fox or what is called a Gumiho in Korean.
The show follows Cha Dae Woong, who is a carefree university student. He is an orphan whose wealthy grandfather Cha Poong and single aunt Cha Min Sook take care of him. One day, Dae Woong visits a temple and accidentally sets free a Gumiho, nine-tailed fox, who was trapped in a painting for 500 years. Fearful Dae Woong severely injures himself, but the Gumiho, who took the form of a beautiful woman, saves him. In exchange, the Gumiho asks him to help her become human. With time, their mutual relationship grows deeper and they start to fall for each other.
