The film portrays the emotional turmoil, the nostalgia and the secrets that surface as they prepare to leave their home. The film stars Sharmila Tagore and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles.
Jaane Jaan on Netflix:
This is a thriller movie that features Kareena Kapoor Khan as a single mother who gets entangled in a crime investigation. Her neighbour, a gifted math teacher played by Jaideep Ahlawat, offers to help her, while a relentless cop played by Vijay Varma digs deeper into the case. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and based on a book.
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan on Netflix:
This is a bittersweet drama that centers on three best friends who navigate life as 20-somethings in Mumbai, where romance, ambition and heartbreak collide with the addictive draw of social media. The film stars Ananya Panday, Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi alongside Kalki Koechlin.
Friday Night Plan on Netflix:
This is a coming-of-age comedy that follows two bickering brothers who sneak out to attend the hottest party of the year while their mother is away on a business trip. The film depicts the misadventures, the friendships and the lessons they learn along the way. The film features Babil Khan, Amrith Jayan and Medha Rana in the lead roles.
Mast Mein Rehne Ka on Prime Video:
This comedy film was badly ignored by Prime Video in terms of marketing. It stars Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta. It had a lot of potential in terms of content but failed to capture the hearts of the audience.
Siya on Zee5:
This is a crime drama that narrates the story of a 17-year-old girl named Siya, played by Pooja Pandey, who is raped by a politician’s son. The film depicts her struggle to get justice against the vicious system and the society that shames and silences her. The film is directed by Vijay Maurya and inspired by true events.
Apurva on Disney+Hotstar:
This is a thriller movie that stars Tara Sutaria as an ordinary girl who is forced to survive in an extraordinarily dangerous situation. The film also features Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
