We wish you a very very happy new year. 2025 is over and we are helping you find out the best of OTT from the year. Despite several great performances, some of them stood out and these are the Top 5 female performances that we saw on OTT this year.
Huma Qureshi
This year belonged to two performances of Huma Qureshi and she nailed both of them. Of course we are talking about Delhi Crime Season 3 and Maharani Season 4. Huma Qureshi differentiated her roles through physicality and vocal control. In one, she used stillness and clipped dialogue to assert power; in the other, she leaned into dramatic political stunts. She never repeated gestures or rhythms across characters. Each performance felt strategically constructed.
Monika Panwar
Very underrated but Monika Panwar in Khauf was absolutely amazing. She mapped her character’s emotional arc with extreme volatility. Early fear appeared in guarded body language and lowered voice. As the story progressed, her gaze steadied and her movements became more assured. That progression made the transformation believable. In scenes where she is possessed, it becomes especially more haunting.
Konkana Sen Sharma
Konkana Sen Sharma played ACP Sanyukta Das in Search: The Naina Murder Case. She is absolutely amazing in this average show. She plays a sharply observant investigator who relies on patience more than force. In interrogation scenes, she often allowed silences to stretch, watching reactions rather than pushing for answers. She balanced professional authority with personal fatigue, making the investigation feel grounded and credible rather than dramatic.
Mia Maelzer
Mia Maelzer played the character of a woman called Jhumpa in Stolen. You may have skipped it but she is absolutely brilliant. Playing a woman whose daughter is lost, she portrays it with a lot of pain. She often withheld reaction, letting pain register after a beat. Her stillness in emotionally charged scenes created discomfort. When emotion finally surfaced, it felt unfiltered. The performance trusted timing over exposition.
Tillotama Shome
Tillotama Shome’s performance was not noticed much due to Jaideep Ahlawat in Paatal Lok Season 2. But the way she plays a cop who refuses to back down is commendable. Her character being a single mom, she plays her character with a lot of layers. She is a very capable actress and she ensures to register the same in this show.
