The debut film of Varun Dhawan’s niece Anjini Dhawan, Binny and Family, has now again been postponed to be released on 27th September. Earlier it was supposed to be released on the 20th, which still was a delayed date for the release. The producer for the movie, Mahavir Jain, reported about the postponement of the release. He said that while watching the screening of the film, famous composer Vishal Mishra felt very connected to the film and created a song for it. The delay of the film has been done to use the song in the film.
Reportedly, people have quite liked the film during the screening. The film on its previous release date on 20th September, clashed with Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Yudhra. Yudhra is a highly anticipated film that is expected to be a big hit. The speculation that Binny and Family has been postponed to avoid the clash can be indeed true. Although the film had been announced earlier, it was delayed multiple times. Also, the fact that the release date of 20th September itself was a postponed one, shows that the film has not been delayed due to its clash with Yudhra.
But then, the film cannot just be delayed further and further for a song. If this delay indeed is due to the involvement of a new song, how will the makers justify the previous delays? It is indeed due to the slopey marketing of the team that leads into a suspicion before releasing the film. The film gets additional pressure to make a good name as it is the debut film of a star kid.
Hence, the film’s multiple delays can only be explained by its poor marketing efforts which should not be the case with a film with such names associated with it.
