James Gunn became the boss at DC Studios and it was a sigh of relief. The legendary comic book studio has created some masterpieces as well as some trash but the biggest complaint people had with DC Studios was the lack of stability.
The arrival of James Gunn was hopeful in a way that he would certainly be more stable than the previous management. But today’s decision doesn’t seem like it. It may be the first jolt before calmness but it is too big a shocker.
Regardless, we have compiled all the big changes that DC Studios’ slate is moving forward with.
Man Of Steel 2
You might remember Henry Cavill posting a video of him returning as Superman. Needless to say, he is the Superman of our generation and perhaps the best to ever play the character.
The film was in active development but it is now a skeptic. It isn’t sure whether the film is moving forward and we may never get Man Of Steel 2.
Wonder Woman 3
Gal Gadot led Wonder Woman is one of the coolest female superheroes to exist. If you knew then the third installment of the franchise was in development but now there is a piece of news.
The project has been scrapped and there is no such film coming like Wonder Woman again.
Jason Momoa & Aquaman
Aquaman is another super-powerful character from the studio. Played by Jason Momoa, the film was popular amongst DC fans. But, DC Studios has made it clear to scrap Aquaman too.
They want Jason Momoa to replay the character of Lobo. So yes, DC Studios may retain Jason Momoa but not Aquaman.
Cruelty In The Flash
Reportedly Henry Cavill has played a cameo in The Flash. The film has seen enough trouble but there is more to see.
DC Studios is considering cutting the cameo. It is cruel not only to the fans but also to Henry Cavill.
The Black Adam
The Black Adam by Dwayne Johnson is one of the starry and biggest projects of the year. Although the film had many shortcomings, it was insanely buzzy which DC Studios often lacks.
The actor put all he could into promoting the film but The Black Adam 2 won’t happen. DC Studios has scrapped it and it ain’t close to coming true.
