Finally after a long wait Dwayne Johnson starrer DC’s superhero film ‘Black Adam’ is coming to Amazon Prime Video rent free. The film will be available for Prime Video’s subscribers next month at no extra cost.
‘Black Adam’ follows an ancient superhuman as he is released from his magic imprisonment by a group of archeologists to free the nation of Kahndaq from the crime syndicate Intergang, whose local leader plans to obtain an ancient relic called the Crown of Sabbac.
Helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra, ‘Black Adam’ is a spin-off the 2019 DC film ‘Shazam!’ and marks the 11th film in the DC Extended Universe. The film is written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani.
In addition to Dwayne Johnson, ‘Black Adam’ stars Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marian Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell and Pierce Brosnan. The film performed decently at the box office upon release and had received mixed reviews from critics. It has been available for rent on Amazon Prime Video from quite some time and viewers had been eagerly waiting for it to become rent free.
Produced by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions and Flynn Picture Co. ‘Black Adam’ will start streaming rent free for Prime Video subscribers in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu from 15th March, 2023. On the other hand viewers will still have to wait for the Kannada and Malayalam versions.
