Black Panther 2 will officially end Phase 4 of the MCU. The movie is garnering praise from all over. The film, officially titled ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ has now debuted with a very impressive 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 70 reviews. In totality, it seems to be the perfect sequel to the much-loved original and a definite watch for all fans of the MCU.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ would see director Ryan Coogler returning to his helm as the captain of the ship. The official synopsis of the movie reads “The leaders of the kingdom of Wakanda fight to protect their nation from invading forces in the wake of King T’Challa’s death, while a new threat emerges from the hidden undersea nation of Tālocān ruled by Namor.” Besides being a good film, what has fans happier is the fact that the film is a deserving sequel to Chadwick Boseman’s 2018 prequel. Here are some of the responses:
Black Panther: #WakandaForever is a masterclass in superhero storytelling.
Emotionally rich and technically brilliant, Ryan Coogler’s directing hand is felt throughout. Tenoch Huerta is an absolute standout as Namor.
Chadwick Boseman’s legacy is honored well. My review tomorrow

#WakandaForever's going to break a lot of hearts, lift a lot of spirits, and remind everyone what made the first #BlackPanther such a cinematic triumph.
Chadwick may be gone, but he's very much a part of this film's essence in a way that's really, really beautiful. My review: https://t.co/WA0hE7NLv3

A moving tribute to T'Challa and Chadwick Boseman, Wakanda Forever is an emotional and powerful story that tackles love, loss, and finding a way forward.

Besides the mutant and antagonist Namor, another new addition to the film is, as per strong buzz amongst the fans, Letitia Wright’s Shuri’s Black Panther. As seen in the last film, Wakanda’s Black Panther is not one person, but instead a title. T’Challa was passed the title after his father’s death after proving his worthiness and now, it seems Shuri it seems will get the title from her brother.
Considering how successful the first movie was, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ has huge hopes riding on it. It is expected by the trade to debut with record numbers in the US, with huge numbers expected even in non-US territories. Considering Marvel’s last few releases were not all successful as it was expected to be, they really need a big hit now.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ will be released in India on November 11, with theatres already opening bookings for the biggie. With the MCU fans hyped for the film and to return to the country of Wakanda, the movie will give all the ongoing and upcoming Indian movies a run for their money.
