There was once a time when BlackBerry was in everyone’s pocket, but that time may soon return. No, the company isn’t coming back from the ‘dead,’ but the movie about it, which portrayed the company’s recent history, fell short of profit expectations. However, it did provide an enjoyable viewing experience for its audience.
AMC has just announced a three-part television event. Initially, the makers had the Canada and USA markets in mind, but releases in other parts of the world might follow.
The original runtime of the movie was 119 minutes, but the makers are promising a new addition of 16 minutes, including never-before-seen footage from the original film.
AMC will showcase BlackBerry in a three-part series on November 13, 14, and 15. You’ll be able to watch all three episodes on AMC+ starting from November 13. Similar to most AMC shows, in India, you will either be able to stream it on Netflix or Prime Video, but confirmation should arrive soon.
In terms of the movie “BlackBerry,” which delves into the business side of things, it ranks alongside films like “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Glengarry Glen Ross.” It excels in focusing on intricate details while maintaining a fast-paced storytelling approach that keeps the audience engaged.
Similar to the film “Air,” it delves deep into business strategy, making it a must-watch for those seeking insight into the world of innovation and commerce. The character development in the movie is well-executed, ensuring that characters don’t get lost in the storytelling. However, the film does suffer from irregularity in terms of quality, with some parts appearing weaker compared to the rest.
