JioCinema is back to its active streak. The platform is known to feature some really bad originals Indian OTT has ever produced. It was active last year around the same time when we saw a new film or show every month. But, they were so bad that they were practically unwatchable.
Now that the platform has created a sort of havoc in the industry with ₹29 and ₹59 plans, they are active again. They are again launching new movies and series to lure new users in the premium plan. Also important is the fact that the subscription fee is so low that many people won’t even mind purchasing the subscription.
Regardless, JioCinema announced a new movie by the name of “Blackout”. It stars Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy, Sunil Grover, Saurabh Ghadge and Karan Sonawane in important roles.
The movie will be streaming on the platform from the 7th of June and we have practically no great information about it. It was initially meant for a theatrical release but is landing on OTT. We hope it turns out to be at least an average film.
