One of the most popular K-Dramas of the year ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo‘ can finally be watched in Hindi audio on Netflix India. The series enjoyed a blockbuster run and is still garnering viewership in large numbers.The show started streaming worldwide from June 29th and in no time managed to charm audiences worldwide including India too. It ended on the 18th of August with terrific reviews. The makers even announced a second season impending for the show after seeing its thunderous reception. There was an announcement regarding the show’s hindi dubbing in the month of September and it seems like the wait was worth it.
Park Eun-bin plays the titular role after her blockbuster show ‘The King’s Affection’ (2021). The k-drama follows the journey of Woo Young-woo, a lawyer who is in the asperger’s syndrome spectrum and works in a large law firm. Woo is extraordinary. She has high IQ of 164, wonderful memory, and is extraordinarily creative but her EQ is low and has poor social skills. How she becomes the smartest lawyer in South Korea despite her asperger’s syndrome disorder, how she struggles to get through her day to day life etc forms the crux of the show. The show is not only motivating but also incredibly charming. The audience have resonated not only with Woo but also her set of friends and colleagues.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is written by Moon Ji Won and directed by Yoo In-shik. This KST original has 16 episodes and also stars Ka ng Tae-Oh and Kang Ki-young in major roles. The show marked record TRP in its domestic territory’s history while also taking record viewership on Netflix worldwide and India.
The immense hype and fan following enjoyed by korean dramas in India could be the major draw for Netflix’s dubbing initiative. The first ten episodes of the show is now available on Netflix India in Hindi. While we wait for the second season of the show to stream in the year 2024, for now lets watch the show in Hindi.
