The first look poster of Shahid Kapoor’s next movie ‘Bloody Daddy‘ is out now. The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it will be the first time Shahid Kapoor is teaming up with the director.
Bloody Daddy will feature actors like Ronit Roy, Diana Penty, Rajeev Khandelwal, Syed Zeeshan Qadri of GOW fame, Ankur Bhatia and Mukesh Bhatt. The film is said to be the official remake of the 2011 French film ‘Nuit Blanche’. The film has been remade in Tamil previously by Kamal Hassan with the name of Thoongaa Vanam.
Ali Abbas Zafar has said that this will be Shahid Kapoor’s first out and out action film. Abbas is known for his films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bhaarat. It will be a treat to the eyes to watch Shahid Kapoor in a hardcore action film.
The film is being produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Sunil Kheterpal, Gaurav Bose, Himangshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar himself. The original film, Nuit Blanche or Sleepless Nights as translated in English tells the story of a police officer named Vincent who has connections with the underworld. He is exposed when he is seen to be robbing a bag of cocaine from a dealer. It will be nice to see Shahid Kapoor in one grey role once more after the wonderful Farzi. Recently Shahid shared a photo with Kriti Sanon teasing their next collaboration. This is going to be an interesting year for the actor as there will be soon a cross over between Farzi and The Family Man too.
The movie will have a direct ott release and it will come out on Jio Cinema.
