Zee5 has dropped the trailer for Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film ‘Blurr’ and there’s a lot going on in this dark thriller. Helmed by Ajay Bhal, ‘Blurr’ is a horror thriller film going direct-to-digital on Zee5 on 9th December, 2022.
The trailer begins with Gayatri (Taapsee Pannu) discovering the death of her twin sister Gautami. While police and others claim it to be suicide, Gayatri isn’t convinced and tries to find out what happened with her sister.
Soon she also finds out about her progressive blindness which needs to be operated upon as soon as possible. Unable to go out in the sun, she continues her search for truth about Gautami’s death in the dark. During this period she also fees some invisible person is following her.
More twists await her when she finds out that her blind sister had a successful surgery post which she could see and her husband Neel (Gulshan Devaiah) had been hiding it all from her. But it seems he has hiding a lot more. Her search for truth is driving Gayatri crazy who is losing her eyesight. Will she be able to find out what happened to her sister and what else is her husband not telling her?
‘Blurr’ is the official Hindi remake of Spanish film ‘Julia’s Eyes’ and is the first film to be produced by Taapsee under her banner Outsiders Films in collaboration with Zee Studios and Echelon Production.
Directed by Ajay Bahl who has co-written the film with Pawan Sony, ‘Blurr’ is an edge of the seat thriller starring Taapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah in the leading roles. Kruttika Desai also stars in the film.
Produced by Vishal Rana, Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya, Tony D’Souza, Pradeep Sharma and Manav Durga, ‘Blurr’ will premiere only on Zee5 on 9th December, 2022.
