The era of biopics is far from over, and as Niels Bohr suggested to our buddy Oppenheimer, “The important thing isn’t can you read music, it’s can you hear it. Can you hear the music, Robert?” To help us hear the music, Paramount came up with the biopic of Bob Marley: One Love, which managed to create a big wave in the box office.
But like most films from the West, the Indian audience gets very little exposure, and OTT is definitely the only means to stream it. So, where is it streaming?
As we predicted a month ago, JioCinema will be the destination, but they aren’t allowing normal OTT streaming. Bob Marley: One Love will be available on the digital space of JioCinema in the VOD format.
You will be able to rent it or buy it with a pretty hefty price tag. ₹349 for rent and ₹699 to buy, which does look like a pretty hefty price tag for the film, more than theater tickets, which is definitely one of the downsides of the Indian VOD market.
Talking about the date of the streaming, it will arrive on the digital space on April 3rd, and you can wait a fortnight or a month for Bob Marley: One Love to stream on regular OTT.
