Some called it a John Wick rip-off, and some called it one of the most action-packed films ever. Though perceptions of the film vary, the 2021 film managed to gain major attention, and fans loved the different action sequences.
And as Nobody 2 was confirmed, when can we expect the release?
The Night Comes for Us director Timo Tjahjanto is set to direct the project, with Universal Pictures and 87North producing it. Derek Kolstad will be returning as the writer, so we can definitely expect the John Wick flavor in the upcoming film.
The sequel to Nobody, starring Bob Odenkirk as former assassin Hutch Mansell, is underway. The original film, directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Kolstad, was a darkly comedic action hit.
Timo Tjahjanto will direct the sequel. Odenkirk, known for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is also working on Normal. Kolstad has numerous projects, including The Continental and adaptations for Netflix and Amazon.
Now, when is it releasing?
Nobody 2 will gift fans, at least the Indian fans, a great action-packed Independence Day. Releasing on 15th August 2025, Nobody 2 will come to theaters with promising expectations.
