Emmy-nominated British actress Millie Bobby Brown captured the hearts of millions with her eccentric portrayal of the mysterious Eleven in Netflix’s superhit science horror fiction thriller ‘Stranger Things’. Since then, she has gone on to star in widely acclaimed features like the Enola Holmes duology, ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’, ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’, ‘Damsel’, and more.
Most recently, she was seen sharing the screen with renowned American actor Chris Pratt for a science fiction adventure film! ‘The Electric Slate’, a Russo Brothers’ directorial venture is a feature based on the graphic novel of the same name by Swedish artist, musician, and designer Simon Stålenhag.
The film features a star studded ensemble cast that also includes Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Giancarlo Esposito, Anthony Mackie and Billy Bob Thornton.
The plot follows an orphaned teenager who sets out to traverse the great American West with a sweet, but mysterious, robot, and an eccentric drifter in pursuit of her missing younger brother. The story is set in a reimagined version of Circa 1997.
Since the film did not release theatrically in India, we have some good news for all fans! The intriguing star-packed thriller will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix from March, 2025. Although it is a long wait until then, the pre-requisites of the film all seem to point towards a massive hit!
