The Hoichoi series ‘Bodhon’ is returning for a second season. The exact release dates are not revealed yet but it will premiere this December.
After Sandipta Sen stepped into the OTT industry after leaving television, she is having back to back successful shows, mostly on Hoichoi. Despite having a huge slate of stories with peculiarity similar storyline, the popularity of the shows are immense.
The first season of ‘Bodhon’ told the story of professor Raka Sen who fights for an oppressed girl in a society that always holds the woman in the wrong. When a second year college student named Shinjini gets raped, professor Raka Sen tries to give her justice. The role of Shinjini was played by young talent Ditipriya.
Sarbari Ghoshal has written the screenplay and dialogues for Bodhon S2. And this new season will introduce new villains of the society. Raka will fight for new representative faces of the oppressed. Actor Koushik Roy will also be in a significant role in Bodhon. The second season reportedly will have a lot of actions scenes too.
A new announcement video too has been released. But it does not have anything to attract the viewers, hopefully, the show will not be the same.
Bodhon season 2 premieres in December. Do not forget to watch it if you are fond of the social thrillers from Hoichoi.
