Netflix dropped the first teaser for its much-talked-about upcoming crime thriller ‘Bodies‘. The limited series falls into the category of one of the most popular genres of current times, which is the psychological thriller genre. It is also a murder mystery with the most ingenious plot possible. Four detectives, living in four different eras, find the body of the same murder victim in London. It is a mind-boggling conspiracy spanning 150 years.
‘Bodies’ premieres on Netflix worldwide on 19th October, 2023. The series will consist of eight episodes, with a runtime of one hour each. The official synopsis of the limited series reads, “Four detectives, living in four different eras, find the body of the same murder victim in London’s Whitechapel. They soon come to realise their investigations have them central to a mysterious conspiracy spanning over a 150 years.”
Netflix’s ‘Bodies’ is based on the DC graphic novel of the same name by Si Spencer, which was illustrated by Dean Ormston, Phil Winslade, Tula Lotay, Meghan Hetrick and Lee Loughridge. ‘Bodies’ is created by Paul Tomalin, and directed by Marco Kreuzpainter.
The cast of ‘Bodies’ is also one of its most interesting aspects. It includes actors such as Stephen Graham (Gangs of New York, Boardwalk Empire, Peaky Blinders), Kyle Soller (Andor), Shira Haas (Unorthodox), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (The Queen’s Gambit, See How They Run), Amaka Okafor (The Responder), among others.
