Durag puja was the prime time for the Bengali industry to produce some good films.
Such as “Bohurupi”, “Tekka” and “Shastri”, but after the prime time of puja season the enthusiasm about Bengali big screen movies are again going down hill.
“Bohurupi” became a huge success grossing ₹13cr. But still why the Bengali industry isn’t up scaling their promotional game?
During the time of Diwali another big screen movie was released and that was “Abar Asibo Firey”, but due to little promotion and less marketing that movie went overlooked by the majority of the Bengali audience.
For the longest time the movie didn’t even have a poster on Inox PVR’s official website.
This shows a lot about the bengali industry and how they are looking at their movies. In this diwali season ,Hoichoi had a strong lineup of web series, which are doing pretty great.
But, after “Bohurupi”’s box office success which was ₹13 cr, why is the Bengali industry repeating the same mistake once again.
If the Bengali industry keep on doing this then there Is a high possibility that good movies from Bengali industry will go unnoticed.
