Boman Irani’s ‘A Father’s Unsaid Words’ From ‘Masoom’ Is All Feels

By Binged Bureau - Jun 18, 2022 @ 02:06 pm

‘Masoom’, a psychological thriller series is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar but today we aren’t exactly talking about the show but a heartwarming poetry narrated by Boman Irani from it.

Just in time for Father’s Day, Disney+ Hotstar has released ‘A Father’s Unsaid Words’, an overwhelming poem that goes on to speak about those never disclosed feelings of a father for his children. The theme of the poem relates to the story of ‘Masoom’ that’s about a father-daughter strained relationship.

‘A Father’s Unsaid Words’ is all about how a father who keeps a strong front always and is never able to express all those emotions like love, care and much more he has for his child. It is also about how a father is never able to tell how his anger is for the child’s protection, his refusal is because he is afraid, how he also feels the pain when the child is hurt.

A father creates fantasy stories for his child to hide the harsh truth of the society, he goes sleepless at nights so that his child can dream and fulfil them without any hindrance. He not only guides the child to the right path but also shields her from any difficulty that might come across. And even if he gets hurt in the process he doesn’t let the child know.

The poetry in that deep voice of Boman Irani just hits the right feels with every word. Filled with high dose of emotions ‘A Father’s Unsaid Words’ is something Indian kids can very much relate to given that fathers in Indian families are the least expressive.

Disney+ Hotstar’s timing with this poem couldn’t have been better as it’s Father’s Day tomorrow and if you haven’t heard ‘A Father’s Unsaid Words’ from ‘Masoom’ yet, do listen to this beautiful heartfelt piece.

Helmed by Mihir Desai (‘Mirzapur’), ‘Masoom’ is set in Falauli, Punjab and follows a daughter’s quest to unearth the truth about her mother’s death, though her family wishes to hide the truth under the garb of love and protection.

Starring Boman Irani, Samara Tijori, Upasana Singh, Manjari Fadnis, Veer Rajwant Singh, Sarika Singh, Sukhpal Singh, Nikhil Nair, Akashdeep Arora, Jobanpreet Singh and Manu Rishi Chadha among others. ‘Masoom’ is showrun by Gurmmeet Singh who also serves the executive producer for the show. The series is produced by Reliance Entertainment’s Dreamers & Doers Co. All episodes of ‘Masoom’ are currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
