BookMyShow Stream is one of the major OTT platforms in India that serves multiple purposes. It is not just any regular platform as it boasts features like ticket booking.
We all can book tickets from the comfort of our homes for cinemas, live performances, and even cricket matches. And you must be aware of how BookMyShow Stream brings Hollywood movies for renting and buying at a terribly expensive price.
But, the platform is accused of a terrible scam. You must be aware that the ICC World Cup is going to start soon. And no Indian needs to be reminded how Cricket is less sport and more religion in India.
With religion comes the instinct to protect it at any cost. So happened last night.
The tickets to the India vs. Pakistan match were made available at 8 PM last night. Earlier the users were made to wait for around 30 minutes, suddenly the waiting time was shot to 2 hours.
Did the tickets become available after those 2 hours? Sadly, no.
The tickets were sold by then.
But how? That’s why people are accusing BookMyShow of scamming people. The Motera stadium has an insanely huge capacity of 1,32,000 people. However, according to a viral claim, only 8K tickets were made available.
There are several claims and videos that are accusing this scam. A user even asked Hansal Mehta to make a series on this.
