The digital release date for Babylon is now out. As you may already know, a film starring Margot Robbie, Toby Maguire, and Brad Pitt came last year and talked about Hollywood. The movie tells the story of the great changes Hollywood went through while the industry was transitioning from silent to sound films.
The movie revolves around many characters who are set in Hollywood in the 1920s. Today, the entertainment medium is shifting from theatrical to digital and we can clearly see a crisis in the biggest of stars. Back in Hollywood in the 1920s, the shift was from silent to sound films. So quite obviously the crisis was natural. The movie talks about how multiple film personalities rose and fell during that era.
The movie was shot on a scale that could make it epic. It became an epic but not, in the same way, makers wanted it to be. It became an epic disaster as we have very few examples of films that fail on such a massive scale.
Critics panned the film for its terrible execution and so did the audience. The movie is more or less a love letter to the silent era of Hollywood but doesn’t convey that well.
Anyways, if you want to watch the big film then you can do so from the 5th of April. You can rent or purchase the film on BookMyShow Stream.

The film will be released in English and will cost you ₹349 for rent and ₹699 for purchase.
