AMC announced they will air a ‘Breaking Bad binge’ marathon ahead of the final season of ‘Better Call Saul’. The Emmy award winning show ‘Breaking Bad’ concluded their final episode back in 2013. And now according to the sources from comicbook.com it is confirmed that they are back with a special marathon show. With the complete seasons airing in five consecutive Saturdays, this will be a complete marathon lasting five weeks. The first episode “Pilot” will start on March 19 and concludes with “Felina” on April 16, day ahead of the April 18 premiere of the final season of Saul.
Breaking Bad is considered to be one among the greatest TV shows of all time. It redefined the concepts of modern story telling. ‘Better call Saul’ is considered as the prequel or a spinoff to ‘Breaking Bad’. The final season of the ‘Better call Saul’ is expected to officially connect both shows together.
Fans are eagerly waiting for their favourite characters to appear again on television. And since Better call Saul will connect them both they are expecting the comeback fan favourite Walter White. Walter was teased in the later part of the show where Saul introduces himself to a disguised Walter White.
This is not the first time AMC is airing a marathon reprise of ‘Breaking Bad’. Back in 2013 they aired all the seasons ahead of the final season. And in 2020 for the world television premiere of ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’ a sequel to the show they aired a marathon run of the show. All five seasons and the movie are streaming on Netflix.
