Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington looks deadset to find a suitable husband for her in the latest Season 3 trailer. Her mission takes a dramatic turn after she starts receiving the aid of her longtime crush, Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
The brewing romance between Penelope and Colin takes centre stage in the latest trailer. It means fans will get to see many #Polin (fans’ nickname for the duo) moments in the upcoming third season. However, not all of them will be pretty.
We also get a glimpse of Sam Phillips’ Lord Debling trying to offer his courtship to Penelope after the former gets instantly drawn to the one and only, Lady Whistledown. But wait a minute! Did we see Colin realising that there is something more between him and his longtime friend? Oh yes, we did!
This scenario even forces Colin to ask his mother whether friendship serves as the best foundation for love, to which she replies, “It is rare, but you must follow your heart.”
