The Telugu film industry needs a lot of improvement in so many ways. But one prominent amongst them is its obsession with so-called massy films. A good film even after some over the top scenes can reach every corner of the world. There can’t be a better example than RRR for that.
But a terrible script having so-called massy scenes can’t help any movie. A recent example is that of Meter. The film is getting badly trolled by people who are bothering themselves to watch it.
Meter features Kiran Abbavaram and Athulya Ravi in lead roles. Also, they are supported by Dhanush Pawan and Saptagiri.
The movie tells the story of a boy who has to become a senior police officer just to fulfill his father’s dream. Yes, becoming a police officer is that easy in Meter. Something happens that forces the officer to take a direct clash against the home minister of the state. The rest of the movie entertains the same clash with a lot of senseless action.
A good script and an even better direction are needed for the making of a great film. Alas, a lot of filmmakers need to understand it which they always fail at.
Let’s see what people are saying about the movie.
