Bugs don’t seem to stop preying on Netflix India. Although they are renowned for a great user interface, the last few weeks are not going well for them. Multiple complaints about bugs keep dropping about the platform and they are about various issues.
The latest victim to that is their flagship series Manifest. The series is a flagship one and was highly anticipated amongst its regular watchers.
Even after a more than decent popularity, Netflix didn’t dub the series in any Indian language. Thus, it is available only in English.
But fine enough, they can’t possibly dub every series. The problem arose with subtitles.
Normally, people watching any show in original English use subtitles. Needless to say, it is due to the fact that many people are unable to comprehend the American accent.
But, there is a slight problem with those subtitles. Normally, all subtitles are center-aligned as they should be. It is the best possible alignment as users are habituated to reading them that way.
Even Netflix happens to adopt this practice in most of cases. But there seems to be a problem in Manifest.
If you see then the subtitles are aligned from the left and it is absurd. Users are complaining about this issue as this sudden change is not looking good.
