The official trailer for Anupama Parameswaran’s Telugu thriller ‘Butterfly’ is out now. Its release date was announced only yesterday and fans have been excited since then. Butterfly will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on the 29th of December.
The film is written and directed by Ghanta Satish Babu and has actor Nihal Kodhaty as the male lead opposite Anupama. Anupama has back-to-back releases this month with ’18 Pages’ also releasing on December 23 and now ‘Butterfly’ is coming a few days after that. Nikhil Siddhartha, who starred against Anupama in the box office hit ‘Karthikeya 2′ earlier this year will also be seen against her in ’18 Pages’.
The cinematography of ‘Butterfly’ is handled by Sameer Reddy, and the music is composed by Arviz and Gideon Katta. Well known actors like Bhumika Chawla and Rao Ramesh both are in roles of lawyers and they have a very strong presence in the trailer.
As far as we can tell from the trailer, it is a thriller where a kidnapper starts kidnapping school-going children and Anupama’s character is devastated when her kids do not come back from school. She lodges a complaint to the police; not satisfied, she starts investigating the disappearance of the kids on her own and gets into trouble on the way. It is going to be a strong thriller with a tight script and great performances.
The movie will be streaming on Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada along with the original Telugu audio. The movie will be released to Disney+Hotstar on December 29. Watch the movie if you are a fan of thrillers and if you like Anupama Parameswaran’s acting.
