It is confirmed that Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar‘s Valimai will be arriving in theatres during the Pongal season. January 12th and 13th are the two tentative release dates that are in consideration for the heavy duty action drama. Initially, Boney Kapoor, who is producing the film planned to release the Telugu-dubbed version simultaneously along with the Tamil version. But that isn’t the case anymore. Two Telugu biggies RRR and Radhe Shyam look set to occupy all the theatres in the Telugu theatres and consequently, a Telugu theatrical release for Valimai is ruled out.
Now, it is heard that Boney Kapoor is contemplating the idea of working on the Telugu remake of Valimai. As per reports, Boney Kapoor, who recently produced the Telugu remake of Pink (later remade in Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai with Ajith), Vakeel Saab is now seriously considering the idea of remaking Valimai with a top Tollywood star.
Boney Kapoor is considering the idea of casting Pawan Kalyan for the Telugu remake of Valimai. He apparently shares a good rapport with the star actor and enjoyed working with him for Vakeel Saab. So, he intends to work with Pawan Kalyan again for Valimai’s remake.
That said, none of this is consolidated for now. Boney is expected to take the final call in this regard only after Valimai hits the big screens. But never the less, even the idea of Pawan Kalyan starring in the Telugu remake of Valimai looks exciting, albeit it is just a speculation for now.
Pawan Kalyan has already lined up a series of biggies including Hari Hara Veera Mallu, PSPK28, 29, and others. So, it would be really interesting to see if he will be open to the idea of featuring in the Telugu remake of Valimai. More details to emerge in the due course.
