As per reports in the media, The Boys Season 4 will most likely premiere on Prime Video worldwide on 13th June, 2024.
Prime Video had earlier released the first full-fledged trailer for The Boys Season 4, along with revealing a 2024 release window for the show. But now, buzz on social media suggests that The Boys Season 4 will release on Prime Video on 13th June, 2024.
Eric Kripke’s ‘The Boys’ Season 3 had ended on a tantalising cliffhanger, back in June 2022. The most devastating reveal for fans of the show was that Butcher (Karl Urban) is dying, and has only months to live. In the trailer for The Boys Season 4, we see Butcher meeting with a mysterious, unnamed character, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Meanwhile, Victoria Neuman, who is frontrunner for Vice President, is firmly under Homelander’s (Antony Starr) thumb.
The official synopsis for ‘The Boys’ Season 4 reads – “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son, as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
The Boys Season 4 will see returning cast members – Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Erin Moriarty as Annie/Starlight, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Tomer Capone as Serge/Frenchie, Antony Starr as Homelander, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett, Simon Pegg as Hugh Campbell Snr, among others. New faces in undisclosed roles include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Rosemarie DeWitt, Rob Benedict, and Elliot Knight.
