The first look of Arya’s upcoming action flick, Captain, is out now. And it bears a striking resemblance to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s prominent Predator movie. The actor dons an assassin’s kit with a PUBG’s M416 type gun in his hands. Also, we can see a deadly monster behind him in the poster.
The makers have not yet revealed Captain’s plot synopsis. But the recently released first look pretty much gives us everything about the forthcoming Shakti Soundar Rajan’s project. Viewers may see Arya’s character taking on the monster with all the skills he has in the movie. It is like we are going to get an Indian version of Predator (1987). The actor’s most recent tweet shows him thanking his helmer for being an awesome director and brother to him.
Rajan is well-known for instigating new concepts in his directional projects relative to Hollywood movies. And this will be his second collaboration with Arya after last year’s Teddy. On the other hand, the on-screen Kabilan received critical acclaim for his exceptional performance in Pa Ranjith’s Sarpatta Parambarai.
In addition to Arya, Captain’s cast has Aishwarya Lekshmi and Simran. Fans will get a chance to hear D. Imman’s music in this one. Plus, the actor’s fans will witness him in an untitled Nalan Kumarasamy project this year.
