Chaitanya Akkineni’s first look from Aamir Khan’s much awaited film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is here. Remake of the 1994 American film ‘Forrest Gump’ and helmed by Advait Chandan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will release in theatres on 11th August, 2022.
The ‘100% Love’ fame Chaitanya Akkineni stars as Balaraju from Bodipalem in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. His camouflaging look as a smiling soldier wearing a helmet is as charming as the star himself.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is set to hit big screens on the festival of Raksha Bandhan and will clash with Akshay Kumar’s family drama ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Both these films are highly anticipated but the latter’s trailer was received more warmly than the former. How the respective films play out in the theatres remains to be seen.
Adapted by Atul Kulkarni with a screenplay from Eric Roth, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Chaitanya Akkineni and Mona Singh in prominent roles.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Jyoti Deshpande, Ajit Andhare and Radhika Chaudhari. The production companies bankrolling the film are Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
