UEFA Champions League is nothing less than a festival for football fans. We all know that Football is undoubtedly the world’s most popular sport. The western world is a fanatic about it and it has a huge fandom in India as well.
But it hardly comes close to cricket when we consider the Indian context. Normally, Disney+Hotstar hosts the digital streaming of cricket, and most of the time, people don’t find any problem as it handles millions of viewers without any lag.
Considering the fact that the number of football streamers is extremely less than that of cricket, it is pretty obvious that SonyLIV had a fairly easy task to do in comparison to Hotstar.
But unfortunately, things are not going well with SonyLIV. Many fans are complaining that the app doesn’t work or even if it does then the frame rates are forbidding them to enjoy the match to the fullest.
There are too many bugs in the app which act as a hurdle in watching the match seamlessly. People are giving allusions to Disney+Hotstar which rarely disappoints sports lovers.
Regardless, the bottom line is, that SonyLIV must work on its UI and server because it is indeed generations behind the competition. They work decently on their content but one factor is never alone and enough. To create an overall balance, SonyLIV needs a massive revamp.
@SonyLIV is so so bad on desktop. It's outrageous that as a paying customer I can't watch champion's league in a browser. Just pathetic.

For all the good things you have @SonyLIV, just fix the app it sucks everywhere (mobile/web/tv) and in every aspects navigation, hang issues etc.
Double the subscription charges and fix it or pass it to @DisneyPlusHS #OTT

@SonyLIV Please burn your servers. They seem to be potatoes anyway. The worst streaming service to watch live football. The site lags like it was made using an 8-bit computer. Learn from @DisneyPlusHS
