The Bangladeshi film ‘Toofan’ was one of the most anticipated films from the country in recent times. The movie stars Shakib Khan in the lead role and has other actors like Chanchal Choudhury, Mimi Chakroborty, Mausama Rahman Nabila, Misa Sawdagar and more. This collaboration between Bangladesh’s most popular commercial star Shakib Khan and the critics’ favourite performer Chanchal Choudhury is one of the main attractions of the film. Toofan is a period drama based in the 90s and tells the origin storybof a gangster.
The movie released in Bangladesh on the 17th of June and was accepted with huge love from the audience. And now it is going to be released in India on the 5th of July. Chanchal Choudhury’s popularity in West Bengal is a well-known phenomena. The actor has previously starred in Indian projects like ‘Moner Manush’ and his ‘Padatik’ is about to release soon.
This also marks the debut of Mimi Chakroborty in the Bangladeshi film industry. ‘Toofan’ is an action thriller directed by Raihan Rafi, the director who has given too many blockbusters to the industry.
