On 29th November this year, Daredevil completed three years of cancellation. Speculations about Daredevil’s return were extremely high. Fans had been waiting for this news for years now and here it is.
Daredevil is officially coming back and the one playing it is none other than our very own Charlie Cox. The show premieres on Netflix and it is expected to continue there itself.
Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios has confirmed this news himself. He is primarily known for producing most movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe right from 2007.
Daredevil is a character of Marvel Cinematic Universe. He happens to be a lawyer by day time and goes on a killing spree of criminals in the darkness of the night. Charlie Cox played this character in the three seasons of Daredevil that are already available on Netflix. Fans loved the elegant portrayal of Charlie as the underrated superhero of the MCU.
Kevin Feige said, “If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”
Kevin did not confirm a specific date when we can expect the show to return. But after the massive request by fans, it looks like the project will start soon.
