Charlize Theron (last seen in ‘The Old Guard’ on Netflix) and Kerry Washington (last seen in Hulu’s ‘Little Fires Everywhere’) are all set to come together for Netflix’s new project ‘The School for Good and Evil.’ Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
This upcoming Netflix film is an adaptation of Soman Chainani’s best-selling young adult fantasy novel of the same name. Paul Feig, known for Spy, Ghostbusters, and Bridesmaids, is associated with this project too. He publicly welcomed Kerry and Charlize with this tweet – I know what school I’m applying to! So thrilled to welcome Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington to the School for Good and Evil! Everyone, prepare to get schooled!
‘The School for Good and Evil’ is about an academy where ordinary girls and boys are trained to be either heroes or villains. The story is about Sophie and Agatha, a pair of best friends with personalities that are poles apart. All her life, Sophie has wished to join the School of Good while Agatha is best suited for the School of Evil. Twists and turns are seen when their fortunes are reversed and they land up in the opposite school!
Charlize Theron is set to play Lady Leonaro Lesso, the Dean of Evil, and Kerry Washington will play Professor Clarissa Dovey, the Dean of Good. Lesso and Dovey also play best friends. Well, it looks like Paul Feig has found his Dean of Good and Dean of Evil! This movie will surely be an unexpected journey and we can’t wait to witness it. As per rumours, it’ll go on floors by 2021, only on Netflix. Stay tuned for further updates!
