Prime Video has just dropped the first teaser and a release date for its upcoming film, ‘Chhorii’. The psychological horror film premieres on Prime Video on 26th November. Directed by Vishal Furia, ‘Chhorii’ stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Mita Vasisht, Rajesh Jais and Saurabh Goyal in primary roles.
The teaser for ‘Chhorii’ gives a peek into the plot of the film. Nushrratt Bharuccha stars as an eight-month pregnant mother-to-be, who moves to a house situated in an isolated location deep, inside a village of sugarcane fields. The house itself is eerie as hell, not to say, the elderly couple that live in it. As she starts to settle into the house, sinister happenings start to occur around her, with a charred spirit and ghosts of three young kids tormenting her days and nights. She wonders if its an illusion and all in her mind, or is the elderly couple hiding something from her.
The teaser of ‘Chhorii’ is set to some chilling sound effects and background music, which enhances the feeling of fear and horror. The teaser also hints that the horror in ‘Chhorii’ is both psychological and paranormal.
‘Chhorii‘ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, under their banner T-Series, Vikram Malhotra, under his Abundantia Entertainment, and Jack Davis, Shikhaa Sharma and Shiv Chanana, under their banners Crypt TV and Psych. ‘Chhorii’ is a remake of Vishal Furia’s own Marathi-language film Lapachhapi (2017).
