Chhorii On Prime Video: Trailer Promises A Spine-Chilling Watch

Prime Video has just dropped the trailer for its upcoming horror film, ‘Chhorii’. The film premieres on Prime Video on 26th November. Directed by Vishal Furia, ‘Chhorii’ stars Nushrratt Bharuchha, Mita Vasisht, Rajesh Jais, Yaaneea Bharadwaj and Saurabh Goyal in primary roles.

The trailer for ‘Chhorii‘ gives us an idea of the plot of the film. Nushrratt Bharuchha stars as an eight-month pregnant mother-to-be, who moves to a house situated in an isolated location deep inside sugarcane fields that turn out to be haunted. As she starts to settle into the house, sinister happenings start to occur around her, with a charred spirit and ghosts of three young kids tormenting her days and nights. She wonders if its an illusion and all in her mind, or is the elderly couple that stays in the house hiding something from her.

Soon, it turns into a fight for survival for Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuchha), and her unborn baby. Will she be able to protect the baby inside her from the spirits that seem to be after her baby? The tension builds with every scene, taking audiences on a journey that’s got horror, thrills, and chills—all in equal portions.

The trailer of ‘Chhorii’ is set to some chilling sound effects and background music, which enhances the feeling of fear and horror.

‘Chhorii’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, under their banner T-Series, Vikram Malhotra, under his Abundantia Entertainment, and Jack Davis, Shikhaa Sharma and Shiv Chanana, under their banners Crypt TV and Psych. ‘Chhorii’ is a remake of Vishal Furia’s own Marathi-language film Lapachhapi (2017).

Chhorii also marks the first collaboration between Abundantia Entertainment’s Psych, (a vertical focused on the horror and paranormal genres) and Los Angeles-based Crypt TV, known for showcasing a new brand of scary with shows like The Look-See, The Birch, Sunny Family Cult, and The Thing in the Apartment.

Chhorii premieres on Prime Video on 26th November, in India and across 240 countries and territories in the world. Have a look at the trailer of the film here –
