Chris Hemsworth Back In ‘Beast’ Mode In Thor: Love and Thunder

Chris Hemsworth Back In ‘Beast’ Mode In Thor: Love and Thunder

Is Chris Hemsworth the living embodiment of Thor? It surely looks like it in the latest set photo from Thor: Love & Thunder. Earlier today, Senior Hemsworth shared an image of him and director Taika Waititi where he looks like a brutal beast who could easily compete with the ‘Mountain’ from GoT.

This new appearance would surely bring a tremendous amount of joy amongst the fans who were a bit disappointed to see the one of most powerful Avengers as a fat & laidback guy in the Avengers Endgame, the last appearance of Thor. Chris Hemsworth had to wear a fat bodysuit to portray the fat, bloated and quite volatile superhero in the final installment of Avengers. But seeing him in such ripped physical appearance now, it’s a confirmed thing that the Asgardian will be back in his full glory in the fourth installment of Thor. The image marked the official production wrap for Thor: Love and Thunder as captioned by Chris Hemsworth. The image also shows Waititi wearing a suit which resembles the suit of Korg, the role he will reprise in the upcoming film.

If we talk about the casting of Thor: Love and Thunder, we all know that after Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett, another Oscar recipient Russell Crowe already joined the Thor franchise in MCU as reported earlier. The film has already created a lot of buzz between fans all over the world since its announcement.

As a matter of fact, this is the second time Crowe has associated himself with Superheroic Tales. We have previously seen him as the Kryptonian Diplomat and the Father of Superman, Jor-el in Man of Steel from DCU. He certainly brought a lot of artistic prowess to that role with poeticism but unfortunately the role was too short to remember. As fans of MCU and the Academy award winning actor, we will surely expect much more of him in MCU.

We still have no clarification of which role Russell has landed in this next Taika Waititi directorial but we are hoping for a larger character. Earlier both the Australians, Chris Hemsworth and Russell Crowe shared a picture together in social media confirming the same. In addition to them, Natalie Portman, Matt Damon and Jeff Goldblum are also returning to reprise their respective roles. Christian Bale will also debut in MCU as Gorr the God Butcher & just like Russell, we have seen him in DC’s The Dark Knight franchise as Batman. Apart from them, the Guardians of the Galaxy will feature in the film.

Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in the United States on May 6, 2022, as part of Phase Four of the MCU and the shooting is done now, it’s safe to say that we may expect a teaser of the film in few months time featuring a beefed-up Thor.
