Boy oh boy, we have some hot news to spill, especially concerning the Star-Lord of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Pratt might find DC as his new destination. After Gunn bid farewell to his Guardians of the MCU, there was just one question: will we be seeing them again?
The ending of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 left us with some ambiguity, especially the final title card suggesting that there is a chance Star-Lord will return. But there’s no solid news, especially after Gunn’s departure; the future does look a bit uncertain.
Chris and Gunn share a good bond from their time working together, so fans are speculating that Pratt might carry his charisma to the other side of the road—DC might be his new destination in the CBM world.
In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Pratt spilled some beans that give us ideas about the future of the franchise.
“Oh, man! There’s so much to explore. There are decades worth of games to delve into, not only with Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Bowser, and Yoshi; that was teased at the end. But it just gets me so excited.”
“I was such a Nintendo head growing up, so just thinking about how everything from Legend of Zelda to the entire Nintendo cinematic universe could be created and what that could look like for all of these characters that I love? I mean, there’s really no limit. We could talk about it for hours.”
Returning to Marvel will definitely be a good thing, but with DC, he can experiment a bit. Roles like Booster Gold or Adam Strange could be a good fit for him in the DC universe.
