The “Citadel” universe is expanding. A few weeks ago we received a teaser from the Italian Citadel called “Citadel: Diana” and we also got really cool footage from the Indian Citadel called “Citadel: Honey Bunny” along with a release date. But, after a pathetic response to Citadel Season 1, the second season is gearing up.
The cast expansion is now done and stars Merle Dandridge, Rahul Kohli, and Michael Trucco will join the recurring cast. They will star alongside returning favourites Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, and Stanley Tucci. Other new faces for the upcoming season include Jack Reynor, Matt Berry, and Gabriel Leone.
Merle Dandridge has starred in “The Last of Us,” “Station 19,” “Greenleaf,” “The Flight Attendant,” and “Sons of Anarchy.”
Rahul Kohli, another new addition, is known for “The Fall of the House of Usher,” “Midnight Mass,” “The Midnight Club,” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor.”
The bottom line is, Citadel Season 2 is expanding and it will continue to do so. But, the makers need to focus on the writing part as well. Citadel, despite being a massive deal was trolled brutally for its weak screenplay. We hope that the makers take care of the writing part as well.
