The release date for Robert Eggers’ upcoming movie is out now. It will be the remake of the 1922 horror movie ‘Nosferatu’. The movie will be out in the theaters on the 25th of December next year.
Nosferatu has a stellar cast with actors like Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe, Simon McBurney and Ralph Ineson. The 1922 Nosferatu movie was an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula and it already had a popular remake in 1979 that was directed by Werner Herzog.
Robert Eggers has made a great name in the genre of horror. His ‘Lighthouse’ starring Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe was a huge breakthrough. ‘The Witch’ starring Anya Taylor Joy too was appreciated by fans and audiences.
Now, ‘Nosferatu’ is going to clash with Jordan Peele’s next movie. Jordan Peele is another master of the horror genre. His upcoming movie will be released in theaters on the 25th of December next year. The plot, title or other details of Peele’s movie has not been out yet but most probably it would be a horror. Peele has made three big horror films after making a name in comedy. His ‘Get Out’, ‘Nope’ and ‘Us’ have impressed audiences and the next one is going to be no exception.
It looks like this is going to be the biggest clash of horror movies ever. The two contemporary horror filmmakers are facing each other at the box office in Christmas 2024 and this is one of the best things to wait for.
