Actor – creator Brett Goldstein has joined the cast of Shrinking Season 2, albeit in an undisclosed role.
Ted Lasso fans know Brett Goldstein from his breakout role of Roy Kent in the hit Apple TV Plus sports comedy drama. Not many know that before making his mark in front of the camera, Brett Goldstein has been a prolific writer in the world of entertainment. He is co-creator of Ted Lasso as well as of ‘Shrinking’, along with comrade-in-arms, Bill Lawrence. Now, Goldstein is all set to step before the camera for Shrinking Season 2.
Brett Goldstein’s role in Shrinking Season 2 is currently under strict wraps. He is credited as a guest actor in the Jason Segel led show. Sitcom fans will know Jason Segel as Marshall from ‘How I Met Your Mother’. In addition to Segel, the series stars Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, Lukita Maxwell, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie and Ted McGinley.
‘Shrinking’ centres on a grieving therapist (Jason Segel), who loses his patience with his clients, and—contrary to his training and the ethics of the practice—starts to tell them exactly what he thinks about them and their problems. His brusque plain-speaking engineers tumultuous changes to people’s lives, including his own.
