Color Photo on AHA: Tale of Two Andhra Towns of The 90s

Color-Photo-on-AHA-Tale-of-Two-Andhra-Towns-of-The-90sSuhaas and Chandini Chowdary’s small film, Color Photo is all set to skip its theatrical release and stream online directly on the Regional Telugu OTT Platform, AHA. The movie will be premiered on October 23rd as Dussehra Special. The majority of the shoot has been completed before the Lockdown. If not for the Pandemic, the makers always wanted to release the movie in the theaters.

The story is set in the 90s and the team has shot this film completely in Nuziveedu and Machilipatnam. Color Photo is the story of how a dark-skinned young man who is in love with a fair-skinned girl. The girl who is a dancer eventually falls for him, and they have a sweet relationship. However, things are not as easy later on as they face discrimination and insults from others for being two different colors. Sunil will be seen as a baddie in the film.

Sai Rajesh who delivered crazy films like Hrudaya Kaleyam and Kobbarimatta has written the story for this movie. Even though the films were successful commercially, the filmmaker feels he did not get the respect he deserves and so, he changed the route in Color Photo. Sandeep Raj who wrote dialogues for a few films is turning a director with this movie.
