Short film making is a trend that existed for a decade. With the limited resources they have, several short filmmakers come up with several interesting works. But somehow such talented filmmakers barely come into films and succeed here. One more such attempt is being made by Sandeep Raj. The talented young man previously penned dialogues for a few films and is now turning into a film director. His debut directorial is titled Colour Photo.
The movie is all set to skip its theatrical release and stream online directly on the Regional Telugu OTT Platform, AHA. It will be premiered on October 23rd as Dussehra Special. The majority of the shoot has been completed before the Lockdown.
Colour Photo is the story of how a dark-skinned young man who is in love with a fair-skinned girl. The girl who is a dancer eventually falls for him, and they have a sweet relationship. However, things are not as easy later on as they face discrimination and insults from others for being two different colors. Sunil will be seen as a baddie in the film.
The promotional material of the film carried decent promise and all eyes are on the film to see if it can become a success. A handful of films have skipped their theatrical release in this Pandemic and released online but none of them could manage to impress the audience. Let us see if this small film can make it.
