The highly popular drama series ‘The Bear’ has been renewed for one more season. Makers have confirmed that it will be returning a third time with the original cast and crew.
The FX original series is created by Christopher Storer, who rose to huge fame with this show. The Bear told the story of an award winning chef who returns to his hometown to take care of the messy kitchen of his brother’s sandwich shop after the brother dies. The first season got 13 nominations for the Emmy Awards and was rated 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The second season of the show had Carmy, the chef, Sydney and Richie working to transform the sandwich joint into someplace good. The third season will continue this story of the struggle of a young talent to own and manage a small business and at the same time take care of personal and professional relationships.
The cast includes Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott and others. Nice Grad, president of FX entertainment has stated, “ What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear.”
Christopher Storer is currently busy with the web series adaptation of an upcoming novel ‘All The Other Mothers Hate Me’. He also serves as the executive producer of the show with Joanna Calo, Hiro Murai of Super Frog, Josh Senior and Matheson. The Bear streams on Disney+Hotstar in India.
