In a recent interview with Screenrant, acclaimed actor Connie Nielsen gave eager fans a reason to rejoice as she shared some exciting updates on the highly anticipated sequel to “Nobody.” The original film, released in 2021, featured Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell, an unlikely action hero who returns to his former life of an assassin after he and his family become the target of a vengeful Russian mobster played by Aleksei Serebryakov. In the film, Connie portrayed the character of Becca Mansell, Hutch’s wife.
Upon its release in 2021, Nobody received positive reviews both from the critics and the audience and eventually went on to become a surprise hit, earning $57 million against its modest $16 million budget at the global box office. However, its massive success on streaming platform Netflix meant a great sign for the sequel. While careful not to reveal any spoilers, Nielsen hinted at an expanded exploration of the Mansell family dynamics, promising that audiences would gain a deeper understanding of the characters’ backgrounds. This insight into the personal lives of the characters is expected to add a new layer of emotional resonance to the action-packed narrative.
While more details are yet to be revealed, both Bob and Connie will be reprising their roles as Hutch and Becca Mansell and Ilya Naishuller is rumoured to be returning to the director’s chair. The film will go on floors anytime early this year
